What are Movement + Mental Health Pop Ups? Movement + Mental Health Pop Ups are a workshop series designed to help participants engage with mental health counseling and tools to improve mental health outcomes in a warm, welcoming and inclusive space. These workshops also discuss issues of identity and social justice to help make sense of who we are and the ways in which we engage in the world. All are welcome!
Why? Mental health is highly stigmatized and it’s often difficult to access treatment. We are bringing mental health to you - the community - in a welcoming and supportive space.
Expected Benefits? These workshops will feature access to a variety of treatment tools that you will leave encouraged to incorporate into your daily life. These workshops are also a great place to meet and engage with others facing similar struggles and seeking support.

mental health professional, yoga instructor
I have spent the last 11 years empowering the limitless potential in others in a variety of spaces and capacities. These experiences, along with many personal ones, informed my understanding of the profound need for healing and recovery in communities of color. Since pivoting my career to behavioral health, I serve children and adults as a mental health provider. Outside of that role, I am a yoga instructor and speaker, bringing dialogue about wellness and emotional well-being within women and communities of color into public and private spaces.
